We are looking to hire a Web Developer to create applications and code for the Ortho Family of websites and internal applications while ensuring overall technical excellence. The Web Developer will work with internal teams to develop, and maintain software, has good communication and problem-solving skills and must be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, displaying initiative and good judgment. This position is onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. What to Expect : Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages Develop technical interfaces and specifications for Ortho Web Sites including security and integration with other cloud-based or on premises systems. Produce or implement testing documents and procedures to ensure quality and error free applications. Effectively troubleshoots performance issues, advises, and implements solutions. Educate and trains end users on the new systems and functionality. Responsible for operational support of external and internal web sites including periodic system updates. Enables web analytics code for metrics gathering and reporting. What You Will Contribute : B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related degree. 1 - 2 years of web development experience using C#.NET and VB.NET Knowledge of ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. MVC) and knowledge of Agile methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with problem solving and customer service skills. Ability to work in a team setting demonstrating initiative and good judgment in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
