Description Web Developer
Position Summary:
The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to specifications. They will create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. The Web Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop web solutions, and maintain existing websites. They should have a strong understanding of front-end development technologies and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologiesCollaborate with designers and content creators to create visually appealing and user-friendly websitesGather and analyze requirements from cross-functional teams and stakeholdersImplement and maintain website features, including interactive elements and formsOptimize websites for speed and performanceConduct testing and debugging to ensure website functionality and compatibilityStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionalityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve website user experienceProvide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholdersMaintain documentation of website development processes and procedures Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience) Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development principlesProficiency in front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery) Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web standards Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop) is a plusExperience with back-end development languages (e.g., PHP, Python) is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong technical skills in web development and programming languages Attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing designsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlinesAdaptable and able to learn new technologies quickly Nortek Air Solutions, LLC, offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
