Job Description:
W.W. Grainger is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Web Chat Representative, working from home in San Antonio, Texas. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field. The ideal candidate will be energetic, resourceful, and possess excellent communication and emotional intelligence skills.
Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and provide support via web chat in a timely and professional manner- Assist customers in navigating our website, placing orders, and resolving any issues they may encounter- Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers- Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members for resolution- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:- 3+ years of experience in customer service or a related field- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with customers- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively- Proficiency in using web chat platforms and basic computer skills- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
