Job Description:
Murphy USA is seeking a Web Chat Manager to join our team in San Diego, California. This is a remote part-time position with a mid-to-senior level of seniority requiring at least 7 years of experience. As a Web Chat Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our web chat operations, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience for all online interactions.
Responsibilities:1. Manage a team of web chat agents, providing leadership and guidance to ensure optimal performance.2. Monitor and analyze web chat metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of web chat operations.4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and customer service across all channels.5. Train new web chat agents and provide ongoing coaching and support to existing team members.6. Handle escalated customer inquiries and issues to ensure timely resolution.7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in web chat management.
Requirements:1. 7+ years of experience in customer service or web chat management.2. Resilient and reliable, able to handle high-pressure situations and maintain a positive attitude.3. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.4. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.5. Proficiency in web chat software and platforms.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.7. Experience with CRM systems and online customer service tools.
