RS&H is currently seeking a Water Resources Engineering Associate for our Transportation Practice in our Raleigh, NC office! Essential Functions: Performs routine assignments including compiling data and assisting with permit and report preparation, and material testing.
Completes design calculations and prepares quantity takeoffs and estimates and engineering plans utilizing advanced software and technology.
Performs design tasks utilizing engineering software and technology. Prepares drawings and visual aids.
Performs as-needed field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects to gain increased understanding of construction practices and design applications.
Becomes knowledgeable of all applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances that are pertinent to respective discipline.
Performs all other duties as assigned and within scope of practice.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in production software and construction document production. Must possess strong oral and written communications skills. Must have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: EIT Licensure From managed toll lanes and long-range corridor plans, to complex segmental bridges, our teams are providing the highest quality infrastructure and facility solutions.
