In Clayton, NC, we now operate two adjacent pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains.

Our Clayton, NC Injectable Finished Products (IFP) facility is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. When you work at IFP, you'll join a global network of manufacturing professionals focused on several key, final production processes, including sterile formulation, filling, inspection, device assembly and packaging.

Position Purpose Perform all aspects of warehousing requirements for NNPII regarding the General Warehouse & Cold Storage, functioning as part of a high-performance work team.

Accountabilities Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesInventory Control of newly received components/materials to include placing in locationsMaterial requisitions & staging area replenishmentPhysical & system transfers of semi-finished & finished productPull Samples upon requestPhysical inventory to include cycle counts & annual inventory countsLook-up & reorder of inventory & plant suppliesPreparation & shipping of finished productLoad/unload trailersSystem knowledge in Prism/AS400/SAP. Utilization of system transactions to transfer material, & inventory adjustmentsDaily inspections of the forklifts, warehouse, cold rooms, & freezerMaintain up to date training status
Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentAbility to read, write legibly, & understand all department documentationTraining or experience to demonstrate an understanding of the risks inherent to the processing, handling & storage of hazardous materials
Desired Qualifications Minimum 1 year warehouse experience, preferably in a GMP warehouse or pharmaceutical industryBasic math skills including knowledge of metric systemComputer competencies required basic Microsoft knowledge: Outlook, Power point & Word; experience with a computerized inventory system such as SAP a plusGood written & verbal communication skillsTraining or experience to demonstrated an understanding of the risks inherent to the processing, handling & storage of hazardous materialsAbility to operate stand-up & sit-down forkliftsGood organizational skills. Ability to execute a work plan & adapt to changes in the schedule
Physical & Other Requirements Ability to lift up to 60 lbs with assistanceAbility to work in cold temperaturesCorrected vision to 20/30Ability to operate a forkliftAbility to work in high placesAbility to work rotating 24 hour on-call week-end shifts as neededAbility to accurately judge depth from at least sixteen feetWilling to learn Lean manufacturing concepts through completion of cLEAN Basic
