Warehouse Material Handler

Job summary
The Warehouse Materials Handler receives materials, picks and packs customer orders, and processes shipping transactions.May perform inventory control responsibilities and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.Receives materials, stocks inventory, picks, packs, and ships customer orders.

Responsibilities
• Receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory transfers.• Use of Oracle/TMS software via PC or RF mobile equipment.• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas.• General housekeeping duties to maintain neat and organized work areas.• Moving materials safely and efficiently using carts and fixtures.• Ensuring efficient and timely handling of all materials.• Flexibility to work in all areas of the warehouse.• Following Standard Work Procedures.• Commitment to safety, quality, inventory control, and Lean principles.• Escalating key issues to Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.• Minimum of 1-year previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.• Flexibility and ability to work in a fluid and changing environment.• Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.• Self-motivated and able to work without constant direction.• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.• Experience working with PC and RF mobile equipment.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Basic Microsoft Office skills.• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks.
