Responsibilities Manage all aspects of warehouse operations Ensures proper product flow utilizing FIFO methodology. Ensure the efficient use of space and resources in the warehouse. Oversee the scheduling and delivery of products to customers. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to warehouse operations. Implement and oversee security operations as it pertains to warehouse operations. Develop continuous operations excellence improvement systems. Ensure the accuracy of inventory through scheduled cycle counts and weekly inventory counts. Foster a positive and productive working environment for warehouse staff. Ensures safety practices are followed and OSHA and FDA requirements are met. Coordinate with carriers for timely deliveries. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and transportation, to ensure seamless operations. Oversees the timely process of paperwork to the finance team. Works in conjunction with Supply Chain Manage and meet KPI goals. Produce reporting to manage incoming deliveries. Scheduling of warehouse team members to ensure coverage. Prepare annual budget. Coach and motivate employees. Ability to maintain and organize paperwork for auditing purposes. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or a related field preferred or related experience 7+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in food production. Proven strong leadership and management skills leading a team. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Proficient in Days on Hand metrics Must be proficient with WMS scanning systems/process and Inventory systems. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in warehouse operations. Must be able to diligently manage other team members within the warehousing department. Strong decision making and problem solving acumen Must have good planning and scheduling skills Must be certified in both sit down and stand up forklifts Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to set and maintain budgets Able to speak Spanish a plus but not required Work schedule may vary Periodic night shifts may be necessary Benefits Company Benefits:
