We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven history of managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and optimizing warehouse efficiency. The Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.
This position reports to the Vice President of Manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities •Inventory Management:
oOversee all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
oImplement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
oConduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock counts with system records.
•Warehouse Operations:
oDevelop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
oCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
oMonitor warehouse KPIs, such as order fulfillment rates, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.
•Team Leadership:
oLead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, pickers, packers, etc.
oProvide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and morale.
oFoster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.
•Quality Control:
oSupport the company's ISO/IEC80079-34 initiatives.
oImplement/administer quality control measures to ensure all incoming and outgoing goods meet company standards.
oConduct regular inspections of goods and facilities to identify and address any quality issues.
oCollaborate with other departments to resolve quality-related issues and prevent recurrence.
•Safety Compliance:
oEnforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working warehouse environment.
oConduct regular safety training sessions and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
oInvestigate and report any accidents or incidents, and implement corrective actions as needed.
•Vendor and Supplier Management:
oBuild and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners.
oNegotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to optimize costs and service levels.
oAddress any issues or concerns related to vendor performance or product quality.
Qualifications & Competencies •Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
•Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
•Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and logistics processes.
•Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
•Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Working Conditions •Working conditions will be primarily inside the warehouse with some level of climate control. Outdoor duties may be required.
