Overview of the PositionAs a part of the Pro-Life Generation, Students for Life of America is looking for a Warehouse & Shipping Coordinator. This position is a major opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to be trained by proven grassroots, non-profit leader, and to advance within.The SFLA Warehouse & Shipping Coordinator will work with the Director of Operations to manage the SFLA Warehouse, shipping and coordinate student resources and event packing and shipping days.We are looking for someone with a knack for organization, passion for ending abortion, and excitement for being a team player.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate fulfillment of SFLA store orders & Asset Panda requests in a timely, cost-effective mannerMaterials & resources inventoried, organized, assigned in Asset Panda and tagged / bar-codedOrders packaged and labelledOrganizing shipping pick-ups with FedEx, USPS & UPStransporting orders to FedEx, USPS & UPSOversees the SFLA Warehouse - keeping it cleaned and organizedOversees shipping of all student resources and merchandiseOversees receiving of all student resources and merchandiseCoordinate with Operations Director to order materials (postcards, booklets, banners, merch, etc., etc.,)Regularly connect with Field Team Director to assemble and print materials needed for Event-in-a-Box, Activism Kits, and Field Operations mailingsOrganize packing days with available office staff or volunteersAssist with special SFLA projects including, but not limited to: Campus Tours, National Conferences, March for Life, Leadership Workshops, Summer Festival Tours and other pro-life rallies or mobilizationsWeekly tactical meetings as well as daily check-ins with the Operations TeamCan move and lift approximately 75lbs+ of materials at onceQualificationsMust be able to communicate well, verbally and through written communicationsA positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a passion for serving in the pro-life fieldMust be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at a timeMust have valid driver's licenseAbility to work independently and with little direct supervision in carrying out the core functions listed above.Who Are We Looking ForA positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a passion for serving in the pro-life field are a must.Must be teachable to learn SFLA technologies and platforms.Candidates must be self- motivated, a good problem solver, have an entrepreneurial spirit, expert multi-tasker, maintain confidentiality, able to work independently, and be a highly-organized person.Position DetailsPosition TypeThis is a full-time salaried position working at least 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours can be somewhat flexible by request.Supervisory Responsibilitieshave no supervisory responsibilities.Physical DemandsHave the ability to life 75lbs or moreMust have the ability to operate technical equipment such as a computer and sit for extended periods of time.Must be able to withstand long periods of driving.Other physical demands may include: setting up displays, walking around campuses, standing during display times, walking outside for long periods of time (door to door canvassing) and participating in local and national pro-life marches.TravelTravel to bi-annual team trainings in January is requiredYou will be required to travel to various events throughout the year and they will be scheduled and discussed in advance.Work AuthorizationMust be able to successfully complete an I-9.
