Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Vice President of Owner Operator Leasing to lead our division. This role is integral to managing our day-to-day operations, driving business growth, and exceeding our strategic goals. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping our market strategies, managing team performance, and fostering strong relationships across the company and with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all operational aspects of the Owner Operator division, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Develop and implement pricing strategies and sales tactics tailored to targeted markets.
Foster and maintain effective collaboration across all support departments to enhance process flow and compliance with financial duties.
Manage carrier and lease purchase programs, maintaining turnover within expected limits.
Build and maintain robust relationships with executive management of carrier programs.
Negotiate and manage carrier agreements, aiming to optimize terms and relationships.
Strategically manage off-lease inventory to meet or exceed management expectations.
Regularly review and optimize business operations and infrastructure for peak efficiency.
Uphold strong cooperative relationships within all levels of company management and other key departments.
Ensure strict adherence to commercial leasing and finance regulations at both state and federal levels.
Lead special projects, develop contingency plans, and continuously seek opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial equipment financing or lease purchase management.
In-depth knowledge of used truck valuation and standards.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with leasing and fixed asset management software.
Exceptional skills in sales, negotiation, and project management.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing conditions.
Strong leadership capabilities and a team-oriented mindset.
Proven track record of building productive relationships and achieving consensus.
