VLSI Design Verification Engineer
This role has been designated as 'Office', which means you will primarily work from an HPE office. Job Description:
As a Design Verification Engineer at HPE, you will have the opportunity to be part of a world class team, designing High Performance Computing networking ASICs. In this role you will be responsible for all phases of pre-silicon design verification, including design verification methodology, test-plan development, testbench development, coverage closure, and sign off reviews.
Responsibilities:
Follow and improve the teams design verification methodology. Write bus functional models that drive and monitor stimulus. Plans and implements block level scoreboards and checkers to verify functional behavior. Write and analyze functional coverage. Triage regression failures and identify logic bugs, while driving bug closure. Provide technical expertise and leads project teams of VLSI engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of design verification. Collaborates and communicates with management and internal partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution. Represents the team for all phases of larger and more complex VLSI development projects. Participates as an independent member of project team of other VLSI engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for VLSI prototypes and products. Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years of experience in VLSI design, verification, or implementation
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge of System Verilog Strong knowledge of OVM or UVM methodologies. Ability to be self-directed in a distributed team environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong experience in designing VLSI components, integrated circuitry, architectures and algorithms. Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Job:

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.
