Job Description :The contractor shall maintain the health and viability of the Virtual Environment (VE) components of the Air Force DCGS Experimental enclave (DGS-X), Langley AFB, VA. Non-daytime shiftwork required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Provide health and status monitoring of equipment and the VE, respond to and resolve incidents in accordance with the established guidelines to prevent failures and limit outages that impact service deliveryManage all components of VE, including HW, virtual appliances and associated SWDeploy, configure, manage, and maintain virtual machinesMonitor alerts, provide resource capacity utilization, make recommended optimization configuration changes, and create run reportsProvide automation for VM development, environment upgrades, and hardeningRequired Qualifications:
Two years experience performing core systems administration on virtual machinesTwo years VMware experienceDoD 8570 certified, IAT Level IICommunicate effectively orally and in writingProject strong customer focusPhysical Requirements:
