Job Overview:
As a certified adjunct instructor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through the intricacies of healthcare business, medical terminology, pathophysiology, and coding within our program. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging online curriculum through the Blackboard platform for both core and specialty credentials.
Hosting weekly office hours to provide additional support and clarification to students.
Monitoring and evaluating student participation, attendance, and completion of assignments and assessments.
Maintaining accurate records of student attendance.
Providing timely and relevant feedback to student queries and assignments.
Adhering to all Instructor policies and procedures.
Actively participating in faculty meetings and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare business experience.
At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an online setting.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
