Dance Industry is seeking a talented and skilled Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and visually stunning dance videos. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of dance styles and choreography, ensuring that each video reflects the artistic vision and brand identity of Dance Industry.
In this role, you will have access to state-of-the-art video editing software and equipment to bring your creative ideas to life. You will collaborate closely with our dance instructors and marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality videos that captivate, inspire, and promote our dance classes, workshops, and performances.
Responsibilities Edit and assemble raw dance footage into cohesive and compelling videos Trim footage segments and put together sequences that adhere to predetermined length specifications Collaborate with dance instructors and marketing team to understand video objectives and desired outcomes Review and select footage, creating a cohesive narrative or theme Incorporate special effects, graphics, and music into videos Ensure final video outputs are of the highest quality and deliver within specified deadlines Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and creativity Requirements Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar Understanding of various dance styles and their unique visual aspects Excellent knowledge of video editing techniques, equipment, and best practices Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills A portfolio of past video editing projects demonstrating technical proficiency and creativity Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training & Development Free Food & Snacks
