We are seeking a Vice President, Senior UX Product Designer in Operations to lead our efforts in designing and refining the customer and employee experiences with Chase. This role requires expert-level human-centered design expertise and fundamental research skills.
As a Vice President, Senior UX Product Designer you will design for the needs of employees as they work on desktop applications across the entire product of Cash & Check in the back-office and in branch. This role requires mastery in human experience problem solving leveraging a range of design thinking tools and frameworks.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of uncovering insights and crafting solutions that drive the strategy and business, with the interpersonal skills necessary to influence senior leadership and product teams. Job Responsibilities Develop high-level and/or detailed storyboards and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Work closely with product managers, engineers, service designers, and stakeholders to deliver the final product. Manage multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations. Facilitate Discovery and ideation sessions to understand the problem space and business value. Create and facilitate lean formative and summative research. Iterate on designs according to user feedback, tech constraints, and business needs. Ensure that all elements of the user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design. Mentor junior designers and serve as an ambassador for telling the Cash & Check story as it relates to the human experience. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Minimum 12 years as user experience (UX) designer with some of that time spent with an enterprise. Proven track record of designing and shipping successful products with advanced understanding of user-centered design principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with multiple UX research methods. A portfolio that showcases your ability to work the problem end-to-end. Must be able to work from a Chase office in Wilmington, DE or Columbus, OH for 3 days of a 5-day work week. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills A strong advocate for user-centered design principles, with a passion for understanding and solving user problems. Proficiency in Figma and collaborative tools such as Figjam or Lucid. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Factors, Business, or a related field.
