About the job The Vice President of Sales, specializing in the convenience store channel, will be responsible for the overall direction and management of sales-related activities specifically targeting this market segment to support the strategic goals of the organization.

Your tasks Build the Company's distribution strategy and execution plan to best scale distribution of Franke Coffee Systems products in the convenience store channel in the U.S.Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team. Ensure alignment with channel-specific objectives and maintain a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. This includes recruiting, training, and developing sales talent with a focus on building expertise within the convenience store channel.Establish and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders within the convenience store channel, including retailers, distributors, and industry associations. Ensure regular engagement, negotiation, and collaboration to maximize sales opportunities and market penetration.Works closely with division leadership and colleagues (including program managers, marketing, market manager, and other functions) to develop and refine marketing plan and strategy to assist in achieving sales targets, brand positioning strategy and market presence (tradeshows, industry groups, etc.).Collaborate closely with Product Development and Marketing teams on developing new products and services to meet market opportunities.Monitor, analyze and report on current sales and market trends.Develops or participates with executive leadership in the development of annual budget and medium term planning (MTP) financial goals.Responsible for managing and achieving agreed upon sales budgets.Utilize existing account management processes and reporting systems working closely Sr. Management and all necessary stakeholders.Develop and/or maintains and improves business relations with all Franke customers and channel partnersAnalyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential for all key accounts.Develop/maintain a strong work relationship with key opinion leaders and contacts with other relevant agents.Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business.Work with the Marketing Director to update the organization on emerging trends within the online marketing environment and assist in facilitating effective plans and strategies.Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new customers will be a key indicator of future success expectation. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.Customer Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.Language Skills: Very High Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Mathematical Skills: Intermediate Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: High Skills - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
