Job Summary:
The Vice President of Revenue Services will be responsible for creating and driving an integrated approach to revenue development related to all Hall of Fame Village assets including hotel, waterpark, merchandising, concessions and other opportunities within the Hall of Fame Village, the destination of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW).
The VP of Revenue is a leader in revenue strategy, as well as someone who can oversee all aspects of revenue generation activities including but not limited to food and beverage/concession sales and operations, hotel(s), waterpark, merchandising, and other future revenue streams. This candidate will play an integral role collaborating with various team leaders in a matrix-organization to maximize growth opportunities.
The VP of Revenue will report to the Executive Vice President of General Administration & Project Development of Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company and will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
* Strategy
o Develop and implement comprehensive revenue strategies in collaboration with other key sales leadership roles to maximize HOFV Campus revenue channels and P&L goals (excluding indoor waterpark and hotel).
o Develop, in cooperation with accounting department, a pre-event projection P&L format and post event ROI format for review.
o Coordinate ongoing analytical support with Data and Analytics team and deliver strategic insight to senior leadership concerning revenue growth opportunities/risks, consumer segmentation, fan base trends, and opportunities to elevate business results.
o Meet financial objective by yield management; forecasting requirements; assist in preparing a budget; review scheduling expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.
o Deploy structured planning process (business review, key issues analysis, key idea development and marketing plan integration) to drive plan quality and optimize business performance.
o Communicate with all departments and guests regarding all activities and events; coordinate with Marketing to determine advertising opportunities for activities and events.
o Ensure alignment and partnership with operations, sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure efficiencies across various business lines.
o Responsible for oversight and development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for areas of responsibility.
* Food & Beverage
o Responsible for providing oversight over AVI stadium F&B operations, as well as lessee operations such as Shula's as well as HOFV owned and operated concession areas.
o Responsible for oversight of ordering, equipment, food, beverage, and maintaining inventory across all business units for areas of responsibility.
o Work with food and beverage distributors on product selection, equipment agreements, and product rebate programs.
o Ensure that all Food & Beverage sales are maximized, as well as analyzing trends to meet guests demands, including pricing.
o Oversee state liquor regulatory compliance, licensure, and DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area).
o Responsible for protecting public health by operating safe and sanitary facilities.
* Merchandising
o Oversee and work closely with merchandise manager to enhance offerings and increase revenue opportunities throughout campus.
* Pricing Development
o Develop revenue management and pricing models and for areas of responsibility.
o General oversight of pricing and yielding model implementation to maximize revenue growth.
* Packaging Development
o In cooperation with other HOFV departments, facilitate the attraction, special events, and concert pricing, and create enhanced thematic revenue packaging opportunities across the HOFV Campus.
o Packaging development will include third party tenants and operational partners.
o Packages to include F&B, Merchandise, hotel nights, amusement rides, admissions, parking, etc.
* Supervision of assigned staff, assuming day-to-day responsibilities for personnel related matters that include but are not limited to:
o Assist during interview process, onboard, and train new hires.
o Complete annual performance reviews for all supervised staff.
o Provide continuous feedback, supervision, and coaching to all supervised staff.
o Formal discipline supervised staff in conjunction with Human Resources.
o Create and maintain schedule, assignments, and attendance.
o Approve time clocks and make adjustments as needed.
o Respond in a timely manner to calls, texts, inquiries, and emails.
o Provide superior guest service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff.
o Enforce uniform protocol.

FULL-TIME/SALARY/EXEMPT POSITION
Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Desired Qualifications:
Individual must be an experienced and seasoned sports and entertainment sales executive with the ability to manage diverse operations and apply consistent and sound financial and business practices with proven work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
* Minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing or sales, master's degree highly desired.
* Skilled sales professional with 10-15 (+) years of management experience, with progressively responsible leadership roles related to revenue generation and yield management.
* Proven partnership & collaboration capabilities.
* PC proficiency is essential (Google and Microsoft environment), Accesso experience highly desired.
* Strong financial, P&L, and budgeting skills.
* Able to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
* Ability to present at all internal and external levels of stakeholders, including the company Board of Directors.
* Experience working in a public company environment preferred.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and entire organization.
* Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of performance, working quickly without compromising quality.
* Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters while maintaining confidentiality.
Physical Requirements for Position:
* The ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
* The ability to work in various Ohio weather conditions, inside and outside.
* The ability to move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones.
* The ability to see and respond to hazardous situations.
* The ability to sit, stand, squat, and walk for periods of time as required for the position.
* Must be available to work in Canton, Ohio.
