Vice President of Information Technology
As the Chief Information Officer, the Vice President of Information Technology will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic use of technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of EWTN globally. This leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the organization's information technology (IT) infrastructure, data management, and support digital strategies. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of technology solutions in support of EWTN's mission.
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
Provide vision and leadership for the development and implementation of technology initiatives.
IT Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the maintenance, security and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure.
Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
Data Management:
Develop and implement data management policies and procedures.
Ensure the integrity, security, and privacy of organizational data.
Team Leadership and Development:
Build and lead a high-performing IS team.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Mitigate IT-related risks and implement security measures.
Required:
Proven experience in a leadership role within Information Services, preferably in a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with the ability to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated experience in managing IT infrastructure, data management, and digital initiatives.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Strong customer service orientation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Keeps abreast of computer technology trends and services to apply best practices.
Flexibility in hours and available outside of work hours when necessary.
Practicing Catholic and aligned with EWTN's mission.
Demonstrated ability to train, motivate and manage a high performing team.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
