A leading company in the health and fitness industry is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Franchise Development to drive expansion and growth. This executive role is central to developing new unit development strategies, managing resales, and overseeing effective real estate decisions to enhance our national and international market presence.
This is an onsite position, located in Cornelius, NC, requiring four days per week in-office presence with a competitive relocation package available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities: Franchise Growth Strategy: Devise and implement robust strategies to secure new franchisees in targeted markets globally. Oversee the generation of high-quality leads and manage the franchise sales cycle from initiation to closing. Real Estate Oversight: Lead the real estate team to identify and secure the best locations, analyzing market trends and demographics to inform decisions and ensure profitability. Sales Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team to achieve and exceed franchise development goals. Cultivate a culture of accountability and excellence within the team. Mission and Values Alignment: Ensure all franchise development activities resonate with the company's core mission and values, promoting inclusivity, diversity, and community engagement. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
At least 7-10 years of experience in franchise development, ideally in the fitness or retail sectors.
Demonstrated ability to grow franchise networks and achieve expansion targets.
Strong leadership capabilities with proven negotiation and influence skills.
Strategic and analytical thinker with a results-driven approach.
Knowledge of current franchise laws, regulations, and best practices.
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build long-term professional relationships.
Willingness to travel for industry events and franchisee interactions.
