We also strive to maintain cooperative relationships with governmental policy makers and the regulatory and self-regulatory agencies that govern the firm's businesses.Non-Financial Risk Organization and Enterprise Metrics Team Overview:The second- line Non-Financial Risk NFR organization includes the Compliance, Global Financial Crimes, and Operational Risk departments and provides a single, comprehensive, and consistent second-line view of these non-financial risks. Non-Financial Risk encompasses risks which are not financial in nature, and could have a potential economic, reputational, regulatory, financial reporting, or client impact from (i) failed or inadequate processes, data, or controls; ii) infrastructure or environmental factors; or iii) intentional or inadvertent actions of employees or external parties. The second-line NFR organization partners with the first-line business units to advise, train, manage, report, identify, analyze, and escalate non-financial risks.The Enterprise Metrics team within NFR sets the framework requirements, manages the metrics lifecycle, including the development of metrics and the production of NFR metrics at a determined cadence, and drives strategic initiatives for Operational and Compliance Risk Metrics. The team is the main point of coordination for the independent risk management and broader framework teams in relation to these programs. The team monitors compliance with minimum standards, provides guidance, training, and support throughout the metrics management process. To perform this role successfully, a high level of interaction is required with NFR areas at all levels of the organization.This role is hybrid and will require in office attendance 3 days/week.Primary Responsibilities:- Lead strategic initiatives and partner with key stakeholders across the NFR organization in line to implement solutions- Collaborate with other Operational Risk and Compliance and GFC teams as required, for successful delivery of the NFR Metrics Program.- Oversee the NFR Metrics Steering committee and other metrics related governance and reporting activities- Lead the NFR Metrics team based in Mumbai to provide oversight, direction and management of junior team members- Collaborate with other Operational Risk and Compliance Risk workstreams as required, for successful delivery of the NFR Metrics Program.- Review complex information and large data sets with the ability to simplify for effective communication and presentation to Senior ManagementExperience:- 7+ years' experience working in Non-Financial Risk Management within 1st or 2nd line, internal audit or consulting.- Knowledge of common approaches to Metrics management and reporting.- Experience driving the creation and adoption of new program standards and procedures is a plus.- Displayed ability to influence stakeholders and drive projects through to completion.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to influence and catalyze decisions from senior management.- Strong leadership and project management skills.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to present complex issues clearly is essential.- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel).- Familiarity with analytics and BI tooling (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau, PowerBI) (preferred)- Bachelor's degree minimumMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
