Description
The Vice President/Sales Manager is responsible for creating, implementing and delivering on the business plan goals for the branch office. This requires recruiting, coaching, training and promoting goals for agents and employees to achieve Sibcy Cline's company vision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION
Build and nourish the culture.
Sustain an office culture that reflects Sibcy Cline's core values of Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Results and Enthusiasm. This looks like, but is not limited to:
Be a brand ambassador of Sibcy Cline within the community, including digital social media channels using Sibcy Cline marketing guidelines.
Coach and mentor agents with day to day real estate problem solving and effective management of conflict/disputes among agents.
Assign ambassadors and oversee United Way, Artswave/Culture Works and Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC) campaigns for the office.
Influence through Action.
Model through behavior, actions and tone what it takes to be a successful real estate agent. This includes understanding relevant technology, staying up to date on market trends, industry news and partnering with agents. This looks like, but is not limited to:
Provide input and assistance to peers as needed or at the request of Management.
Model productive workflows such as spending time in the office and maintaining consistent hours and availability.
Maintain full understanding and utilization of Sibcy Cline tools and programs.
Grow the office.
There are multiple ways to grow an office. The three most important are: growing the productive agents in the office, adding to their numbers, and increasing the market share for the office. This looks like, but is not limited to:
Review agent goals semi-annually and monitor progress (using tools like Collateral Analytics) to help improve productivity.
Conduct regular coaching and/or accountability meetings with agents.
Recruit new and experienced agents to meet the established goals for the office.
Collaborate with Professional Development to grow agents' businesses through training.
Develop quarterly and yearly market ranking stats for the office.
Meet with and support the Customer Care Team.
Review critical performance indicators of office monthly, including but not limited to: listings, sales, pending reports, expenses, listing commissions to proactively plan for office growth needs.
Encourage agents transitioning out of real estate to have an exit strategy for marketing to and transferring contacts lists to another agent or teams. If the agent does not have a book of business, then encourage the agent to join Midwest or Bluegrass, keeping the agent in the Sibcy Cline family.
Support and contribute to Sibcy Cline's relocation network through Leading RE referrals.
Manage the Business.
VP/Sales Managers are responsible for running the business unit of an office. This includes the responsibility for effectively managing Sibcy Cline employees, upkeep of the property, and management of real estate operations of the business. This looks like, but is not limited to:
Proactively manage effective training, development and retention of high-performing Branch Office Administrator(s). (Offices with two BOAs must cross-train on job functions (i.e., listings, sales and closings))
Conduct a minimum of one monthly all-employee meeting.
Meet all production goals including listings, sales, recruiting, and Core Services as established in the office business plan.
Host sales meeting on a regular, schedule cadence (weekly, bi-weekly, for example).
Attend and actively participate in monthly managers meetings and all other company sponsored events.
Meet regularly with the broader Sibcy Cline employee team including Marketing, Technology, Photography, Core Services, Senior Leadership to share feedback and receive input on business strategy adjustments.
