Veterinary Assistant

We are expanding our team of doctors and are ready to hire a part-time weekend veterinary assistant to support them! This position is weekends only at about 10-15 hrs/week. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Patient restraint using Feline Friendly techniques. Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines Administration of medicines and vaccines Competency in emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement, monitoring anesthesia, and perioperative care Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work Sterilization of surgical equipment; maintenance of autoclave; changing O2 tanks.
