Responsibilities
• Locate underground utilities• Search for underground utilities in designated area• Accurately mark locations and document• Work full-time with overtime required• Work the day after holidays and some weekends• Thoroughly complete locates within 48 hours• Maintain public safety• Use company-provided vehicle• Utilize ticket and claims management systems• Ensure clear and complete mark-out services
Requirements
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions• Computer proficiency• Willingness to work overtime and weekends• Pass a drug screen• Valid driver's license and safe driving record• Able to work in confined spaces and lift up to 75 lbs• Distinguish colors used to identify wiring• Read and understand locate tickets, maps, and prints• Clear communication skills
