Job Description The Unit Clerk creates a safe environment for patients, saves lives when necessary, provides hope, empowers patients, and teaches new tools for coping to patients . The Unit Clerk provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Primary responsibilities include administrative and clerical duties on nursing units.
