Traveling Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Flat Welders for projects located in and around Catoosa, OK. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of $27-32/hour based on experience & skill level plus $100/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope: Work in a shop setting
Weld air cooled heat exchanger headers
Utilize TIG, Flux core, & MIG
Repair failed weld joints
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements: 3+ Years of Experience in TIG, Flux Core, MIG, & Air Cooled Heat Exchanger welding Preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience welding air cooled heat exchanger headers (corner joints)
Experience in at least 3 welding processes preferred (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW)
Must Pass Weld Test
Drug Screen
Background Check
Ability to maintain less than 5% rejection on weld repair rate
Ability to maintain less than 1% rejection on header fit up rejection rate
Ability to fit up all aspects of a header
Ability to be proficient in cutting processes (carbon arc, plasma cutter)
Ability to be proficient in repairing failed weld joints
Ability to read weld procedures for required parameters and use them accordingly
Ability to read prints for weld procedures, weld sizes, and dimensions
Knowledge of rigging and operation of overhead cranes
