Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction projects at various sites, serving as the on-site point of contact and ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams, ensuring they uphold safety protocols and deliver exceptional craftsmanship.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing regular project updates.
- Conduct frequent site inspections to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project completion.
Position Essential Job Functions:
- Possess extensive knowledge of multifamily construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Expertise in interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate construction teams.
- Excellent communication abilities to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Ability to travel as needed to different project locations, sometimes for extended periods.
Position Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on multifamily projects.
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction software and technology tools.
- A can-do attitude with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
