Traveling MEP Superintendent Job Duties: Responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects from start to finish. Expertise and leadership in project completion within timeline and budget constraints. Coordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Oversee the onsite construction team, including subcontractors, to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any construction-related issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and vendors, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders, to ensure accurate record-keeping. Essential Job Functions: Lead and motivate the construction team to achieve project goals and objectives. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures. Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of work and resolve any conflicts that may arise. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients and management, to provide regular updates on project status. Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship. Skills: Bachelor's degree or engineering/architectural experience Mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience required Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to navigate through complex construction challenges. Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
