Transporter Full-Time, M-F 8a-4:30p or PRN As Needed A Patient Transporter, under the direction of the Manager of Imaging Services or assigned supervisor, is responsible for transporting patients; assisting in lifting, moving, and attending to patients; maintaining cleanliness of transportation equipment and patient waiting and dressing areas; assisting in the radiology offices and assigned imaging area.

Preparation of patients, processing images, maintaining equipment, maintaining quality control, and collecting quality improvement data. Functions resulting in an exposure of patients to radiation or ultrasound may not be assigned. Assists with office work as warranted. Assists technologist with patient care when needed and the duties deemed necessary to support the mission and goals of Unity Point- Trinity. Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent. Medical Terminology preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Prior Transport experience preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s): CPR certification.
