Emerson is seeking a Training Specialist at our Shakopee, MN location. As a Training Specialist, you will develop, administer, and coordinate the delivery of courses and programs to meet Customer Care learning and development needs.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Conduct ongoing analyses to resolve department training needs Identify training needs based on current performance gaps and strategic direction of organization Identify, evaluate and prioritize training opportunities based on feedback from management and employees Develop and implement employee feedback process and needs assessment tools for collecting data Lead area members in gap analysis exercises and material improvement Work closely with management team to resolve and provide imperative learning topics Plan and/or craft training content Research available product and programs Select cost-effective programs where applicable Develop class materials, and update documentation Attend various training seminars that improve technique and tailor to different learning styles Coordinate the execution of new hire and continuous training programs Deliver/Facilitate selected programs and courses Plan transfer of applicable training activities to Global Support Team Evaluate of training efficiency Track and document results from training Develop evaluation instruments, including mock workstations for simulation Use results from evaluation to practice continuous improvement exercises Create and sustain on-the-job coaching program to ensure transfer of learning Coordinate and schedule logistics for Customer Care training classes Develop and maintain various schedule of technical and administrative courses Maintain class materials, training records, and other training documentation Who You Are: You deal constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes.
