NV5 is seeking a Transportation Group Manager, for our Albuquerque, NM office. The primary goal of the position will be to grow private sector traffic services – specifically traffic impact studies, DRIs, signal warrant studies, transportation plans, bike/ped plans, corridor studies, parking plans, traffic signal design, timing, safety studies, and the like.
Most frequent and essential work activities:
Complete traffic studies. Train and develop staff for work in the private sector. Interact with clients from project startup to completion. Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and of the highest quality. Prepare proposals and contracts. Market NV5 to existing and potential clients and maintain positive client relationships. Represent NV5 at professional functions. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology 8-10 years of directly related professional work experience PE, or ability to acquire a PE in NM within one year of beginning work PTOE and/or AICP, a plus Excellent writing skills Traffic analysis software, Microsoft Office Work Environment and Physical Demands The characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position. Work will primarily be in an office setting with limited opportunities to be exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
