Basic Job Functions: The DJJ Nonferrous Brokerage Group has an immediate opening for a Trading Manager in Salt Lake City, UT
Train and develop a team of brokerage representatives Cultivate and grow relationships with scrap yards and domestic and international recycled material consumers; approximately 50-75% travel Develop and implement a marketing strategy for your region Buy and sell scrap metal and scrap substitutes Interact with customers regarding supply chain management, payment terms and contract changes while creating business opportunities to effect strong customer relations and profitability for the Enterprise Work across territories with teammates to achieve optimize nonferrous margins and grow 3rd party business Proactive problem solving to help the team achieve revenue, shipment, and profitability goals Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
