Residential Title Examiner JOB SUMMARY:
Our examiner is responsible for the day-to-day examination of title files. They review compiled information pertaining to the subject property and then utilizes codes to properly identify each item to be disclosed on the preliminary report.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates title plant operations with the title department, customer service, sales, and outside services, as needed. Maintains records of information gathered related to properties. Reports research findings to appropriate personnel. Performs any other duties delegated by management. Adheres to company policies and guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE: Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in the land title industry is required. EDUCATION: A high school diploma is required. Some college preferred. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, INSURANCE: No certifications, licenses, or insurance are required. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Adaptable: adapts to new, different, or changing requirements. Proficiency with SoftPro is a plus. Writing: uses standard English to clearly communicate thoughts, ideas, and information in written form. LICENSING: License - Missouri Department of Insurance or the ability to meet – Missouri Department of Insurance Producer license or ability to meet the requirements for Missouri Department of Insurance licensing is required. Subject to statutory continuing education requirements.
