Novant Health is seeking an experienced Therapist I that is able to adapt to each unique client, as well as display proficient knowledge and experience in implementing and coordinating treatment plans while considering various cultures and age groups. The Therapist provides complete patient assessments, plans for therapeutic interventions and appropriate follow up care, implementing treatment plans, coordination of the treatment process and discharge planning. Also demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age and cultural diversity of the patients served. #novanthealthallied Education : Graduate Degree, required. Master Degree in social work, counseling or related field. Experience : Minimum of one year experience, preferred. Licensure/Certification : LPC, LCSW or any other human service related license, preferred. Additional Skills (required) : Responsible for documentation in electronic health record. Provide clinical services to a wide range of ages, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. Perform well in a work environment dependent upon mutual support, a high degree of independence, and a strong team concept. Skill at presenting to groups and facilitating group interactions. Good physical and mental stamina to meet demands made by patients, families, physicians and nursing staff.
