SUMMARY: Operate test equipment. Troubleshoot boards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Test and repair all products directed by the Group Leader. Final test product per written final test instructions at acceptable quantity level with 100% quality. Troubleshoot circuit boards and repair failed units down to component level. Enter defect data into appropriate Qantel program. Notify Group Leader and Production Engineering of any test workstation failures. Work as a team member or individually as required. Ability to solder and desolder printed circuit assemblies. Adheres to the quality system standards pertaining to the job. Adheres to ESD requirements and safety rules. Produce high quality products to exceed customer expectations. Follows MultiTech rules and policies. Clean and maintain work area. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Good computer skills (Windows), ERP and Document Control System experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents/electronic schematics/mechanical assembly drawings and write routine reports in English. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Two-year degree in Electronics or equivalent. One to three months related experience and/or training. Knowledge of Lean Principles. Equal Employment Opportunity
