We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our team in Redmond, WA.  This role is full-time in-office. The salary range for this position is $115,000- $124,000 DOE. Primary Function:
The Test Engineer is responsible for testing the latest hardware prototypes as they are being built to ensure their functionality and to inform build process improvements, product design improvements and test and device software improvements. As a Test Engineer you will be a part of a dynamic, fast-paced team that operates on the cutting edge of technology while contributing to the development of the next generation of devices. You will work with cross functional partners to develop test requirements, specify test hardware and write test software to execute tests against these requirements. Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities: Review all available design data and participate in Test Plan development Develop new features for and maintain a Test Executive suite Develop new and maintain existing tests to be executed by the Test Executive Provide first level of debug of test failures Analyze test data and propose test improvements Scope, schedule and organize test platform development / validation in a timely manner Document procedures, setups, and experimental results, with strong attention to detail Debugging hardware/firmware/software interactions Debugging complex electro-mechanical systems Education and Experience: (Knowledge, skills, & abilities) Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in engineering 3+ years of experience in hardware manufacturing test Experience working   across fast-paced, highly collaborative teams and environments Experience reading and interpreting technical drawing, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Experience with Agile Software Development 2+ years of Python development experience Strong written and verbal English language communication skills. Working knowledge of statistics as it applies to test (Gage R&R, DOE, etc.) Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group. Demonstrate commitment and adherence to SIGMA DESIGN Core Values. Pass a post-offer background verification. Work Environment
Standard office environment with normal amounts of office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation.  Occasionally may be required to travel as required to other facilities, clients or suppliers.  SIGMA DESIGN is an Equal Opportunity Employer
