What Territory Management contributes to Cardinal Health   Territory Management is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face, virtual, and telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives. Responsible for cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts.
OptiFreight™ Logistics is the leading provider of Inbound, Outbound, and Less than Truckload (LTL) Shipping and freight management services for the Healthcare sector.
Accountabilities    Achieve performance targets across assigned portfolio by generating new business, increasing account penetration, and retention of current customer base Acting as lead point of contact across assigned portfolio of current OptiFreight Logistics customers as it pertains to shipping, logistics, and general service needs   Collaborate with Cardinal Health business units to identify new opportunities across existing and new customer base Support cross functional teamwork – Finance, Operations, Marketing, etc. Lead customer business reviews and discovery calls on routine basis articulating value and financial outcomes of opportunities Responsible for overall account performance, deal modeling, and contracting strategies Leverage CRM to support disciplined pipeline management and performance forecasting of key metrics Builds and fosters strong, productive customer partnerships focused on ensuring customer success and retention; develops a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders and executive sponsors Stays abreast of the changing healthcare landscape, logistics innovations, and supply chain trends to maintain a deep understanding of the customer experience Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solution-based sales or direct customer-facing experience preferred Ability to travel up to 50% Demonstrated financial acumen, including complex negotiation, strategic and analytical skills Strong background in complex selling situations, and ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships to achieve business objectives Ability to analyze complex business issues and lead the development of customized action plans to drive value for the customer and Cardinal Health Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills Excel & Powerpoint proficiency What is expected of you and others at this level Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve Applies judgment within defined parameters Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy Anticipated pay range: $85,500 - $110,800 (includes targeted variable pay)

The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
