Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time Tenure-track Cybersecurity Professor. This position will serve the Cybersecurity Bachelor of Applied Science program and help support the growth of this degree. Teaching duties will include courses in computer networking, cybersecurity, scripting/programming, cloud/virtualization, and project management.
Teaching assignment may include days, evenings, and online modalities. Obtain and maintain Professional-Technical Certification requirements. Participate in program, curriculum development and assessment activities. Work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds. Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College. Work cooperatively in a variety of department-level activities and college or company-wide projects. Ability to assume a leadership role within the department (administrative duties, faculty supervision and student advising). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: Bachelor's degree OR equivalent formalized technical training related to the cybersecurity field. Three (3) years of recent (within the last five years) industry experience related to the cybersecurity field. Practical knowledge and work experience with computer networking, cybersecurity, scripting/programming, cloud/virtualization, and project management. Experience with Microsoft Office, VMware, Linux, and other software/equipment related to the cybersecurity field. About Clark College
