Internal Job DescriptionClosing Date:April 5, 2024Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for a Temporary Seasonal Port TUB Operator x8Rotation schedule will be 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-siteReporting to the Port Operations SupervisorResponsibilities:• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures• Safe operation of the truck dump system• Conveyor inspections• Manual labor/clean-up of all conveyor systems• Other duties as assignedQualifications:• At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent• A team player and able to communicate well with others• Highly motivated and have ability to perform tasks with limited direction• Have the ability to adhere to high safety standards• Able to work day, afternoon, or night shifts as required• Able to work outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions• Able to perform labor intensive work when required; physically capable of performing the essential functions of the tradeExternal Job DescriptionAbout TeckSuccessful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a physical assessment, drug screen and a background check.
