Clearly IP a local Appleton Wisconsin based VoIP hardware and software manufacturer is looking for a talented Support Technician in the Fox Valley area who will troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout our entire product line and assist customers with rollouts of our telephony products.
Role:
Work out of our Appleton Wisconsin office
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to VoIP
Provide Support in line with appropriate SLAs
Be able to Talk clients through a series of actions either via phone email chat or screen share
Properly escalate unresolved issues
Ensure all issues are properly logged
Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
Document technical knowledge in the form of knowledge base guides
Maintain an open but professional relationship with customers and colleagues
Requirements Your Background:
Basic familiarity with Linux Android iOS MacOS and Windows operating systems.
Command line skills in Linux are a plus.
Experience with Asterisk and FreeSwitch based phone systems is a plus.
A solid understanding of TCP/UDP/IP networking.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language. French language would be a major advantage but not required.
