Position Summary On our team, you will have the opportunity to help protect vital natural gas infrastructure throughout the community. As a Gas Leak Survey Technician, you are responsible for completing outdoor leak survey on designated natural gas systems and inspecting gas meters for leaks and corrosion. Primary Responsibilities Tinker with gadgets Keep communities safe Locate, survey, and assess the origin or damage and gas leaks Detect gas leaks while inspecting designated areas Record and process effective data pertaining to leaks Ensure all field data is collected and reported accurately Work independently Be self-motivated and accomplish daily goals Have strong communication and pay attention to details Job Qualifications and Skills Valid Driver's License with a good driving record Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment Must be able and willing to walk 5 miles or more per day on various terrain and various weather conditions carrying a minimum of 25 pounds Willingness to learn and grow Track record of being an over achiever Desire to work overtime Background in construction or manufacturing is a bonus Passionate about making a difference in the environment Familiar with using a smart phone and laptop to collect data Pay $18 per hour Benefits Weekly pay Company paid items such as a vehicle with insurance, gas card, smartphone, laptop Company paid uniform, Safety boot voucher, and PPE Opportunities for paid overtime Paid training with no experience required Medical, dental, vision insurance and more Company paid life insurance policy Paid holidays and personal paid time off (PTO) 401K with company match after 6 months Career advancement opportunities Working at Hydromax USA At Hydromax USA, we're committed to a culture that embraces safety and strives for excellence.
