POSITION OVERVIEW
Alliance Automation is seeking to grow our Applications Engineer team with skilled individuals that enjoy thinking outside the box in a team environment to solve practical problems with no standard solution. The projects we work on offer broad and diverse experiences that strengthen and challenge individual and team skills resulting in innovative solutions.
As an Applications Engineer at Alliance, you will work alongside a team of professionals to help develop an accurate budget and quote that outlines key concept points, sequence of operations, and mechanical description. We work with solutions that include robotics, vision, pneumatic, and motion control. You will work hard as a team, meet deadlines, and be rewarded for a job well done.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Prepare proposals.
Review project information, to enhance quotation estimate accuracy and develop proposed deliveries.
Assist project team.
Communicate proposal information to Alliance sales.
As required:
Review requests from the customer or salesman.
Facilitate internal Quote Review meeting.
Prepare customer and vendors correspondences.
Maintain contact with Sales Engineers.
Ensure Applications Kick-Off meeting occurs with the project team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
3+ years' equivalent experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
Ability to produce CAD drawings is a plus.
