RIE is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager specifically within the aerospace or medical device industry to lead sales growth within our growing Southwest territory!
To be successful in the Technical Sales Manager role, you will need a hunter's mindset, strong negotiation & communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to grow a small territory into the leading territory for the organization. Prior experience within the surface finishing industry will give you an advantage in this role. The Technical Sales Manager will be a road warrior and can expect to travel 50% of the time. Due to the travel requirement, this position will be located within the territory which includes the states of AZ, NM, UT, CO, TX, and CA.
Responsibilities :
Develop, implement, and execution of annual business development plan Driving strategies to achieve sales targets and goals. Communicate effectively and actively across all business lines Establish ongoing relationships with customer key decision makers Develop effective business relationships at the decision maker level Plan a strategy, advise corporate on new product opportunities, and develop plans for under developing customers Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business or technical field 4+ years' experience in an industrial/technical sales position MUST demonstrate a hunter-style mentality Proven history of increasing level of opportunity Distributor management experience is a plus Strong negotiation skills Ability to make effective sales presentations Excellent organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Why RIE: First and foremost, we have the best employees around!
