Technical Sales Associate

This position is 50% sales, 35% customer service and 10% light technical support and 5% everything else.

Your responsibilities will include:

O rder taking. You will take orders in-person, over phone, email or chat and enter them into our accounting system.
Quoting . You will prepare estimates for our security integrator customers insuring that all quoted units are compatible between each other, cost-efficient and satisfy their customers' needs.
Fulfillment . You will make sure that when a back-order or drop-ship is necessary, the orders are made available for pick-up or delivered to our customer promptly. When difficulties arise, you will work with our manufacturer partners, shipping carries, dealer customers and their end-users to resolve them.
Customer service . There will be quite a lot of run-of-the-mill customer-related tasks. These include: updating the CRM, responding to customer emails, calls and messages. Occasionally, we will also ask you to help other team members with shipping, receiving, stocking, kitting, light assembly, etc. Billing . You will invoice simple orders; in more complicated cases, you will make sure that our accounting bills the customers promptly.  First line of technical support . When a customer asks for technical support, we will expect you to ask a few smart questions to understand the issue at hand fully. Then, if the problem is easy enough, you can guide the customer toward a solution; in more complicated cases, you will need to refer the issue either to internal or outside support teams and to assure that our problem is ultimately resolved.
Requirements At the minimum you must

Be a team player

Be a technical-minded person
Have positive attitude, stress-resistance and calm demeanor
Be disciplined
Have a high school diploma or GED
Be legally authorized to work in the US (we use e-Verify)
The following will be a plus:

Technical sales experience
Any experience in the physical security industry
Fluency in Spanish
