Gotion is seeking a Technical Program Manager to spearhead US OEM customer projects in cell product development. In this role, you will lead the initiatives from concept through to production, coordinating closely with both our customers and our headquarter cell team. This position is ideal for someone with a robust engineering background and a masterful grasp of project management in the battery cell technology sector.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly engage with US OEM customers, driving and coordinating cell development and manufacturing in tandem with the headquarter cell team.
Manage projects from conception to production handover, acting as the main point of contact throughout the process.
Develop detailed manufacturing program plans, defining strategy, scope, schedule, resources, and cost targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the manufacturing program with the planned objectives.
Create, maintain, and effectively communicate project schedules to engineering leadership.
Identify innovative solutions to overcome project obstacles and maintain schedule adherence.
Prioritize and track the progress of cross-functional team tasks, balancing schedule, risk, resources, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Master’s Degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive knowledge and strong industry experience in lithium-ion battery cell technology.
Minimum of 5 years in product development or manufacturing, with a mix of engineering and project management roles.
Demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects for mass-produced products.
Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Confluence.
Ability to work effectively across functions and manage large teams.
Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
