We are currently seeking professional, hardworking Radiology Tech Aides for immediate local opportunities. As a Radiology Tech Aide at MedSmart, you will be responsible for assisting Licensed Technologists with non-technical aspects of the department, including patient transport, positioning, and administrative functions.
Essential Functions: Assist the Licensed Technologist with non-technical aspects of the department, including patient transport, positioning, and administrative functions. Determine patient name, destination, mode of travel, time, and other data, following written or oral instructions. Assist non-ambulatory patients in walking to prevent accidents or falls. Transport patients, alone or with assistance, in bed, wheel cart, or wheelchair to designated areas within the facility during their stay. Requirements: Previous experience as a Patient Transporter preferred. Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support).
