Job Details: Teaching Associate MSCI The Department of Marine Science at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a Teaching Associate beginning in August 2024. Candidates must have an M.S. in environmental science, marine science, or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate credits of environmental science, marine science, or a closely related field. Candidates with work experience beyond the M.S. or a Ph.D. in Environmental or Marine Science research and at least 1 related peer reviewed publication are preferred. The primary teaching responsibilities will be introductory and advanced environmental science lectures and labs for undergraduates. We seek a highly motivated individual who will support experiential learning activities in lecture, laboratory, and field settings.

The department offers B.S. degrees in Marine Science and Marine Coastal Environmental Science, an M.S. in Coastal Marine and Wetland Studies and a Ph.D. in Marine Science. Minors in Marine Science, Environmental Science, and Coastal Geology are also supported within the Department.
