A Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) teacher provides an instructional program for regular and special education students which is appropriate to their educational needs and developmental level. As of November 1, 2021, all MPS employees are required to be fully vaccinated. The health and safety of our staff and students is our number one priority.

Applicants must be licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to teach this specific grade level and / or content area. Eligible applicants include:

The teacher salary range starts at $49,836 and increases according to the set salary schedule based on education beyond the required bachelor's degree and previous years of fully-licensed K-12 teaching experience. Equal Employment Opportunity
