Job Responsibilities:
Tax Strategy and Compliance: Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all federal, state, and local taxes. Implement strategic tax planning and ensure compliance with the latest regulations.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a dedicated team of tax professionals, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
Audit and Regulation Management: Coordinate and manage internal and IRS audits. Stay abreast of tax law changes and strategize accordingly.
Operational Excellence: Maintain control procedures and optimize the overall tax process for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree in Taxation preferred.
Certification: Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Experience: At least 3 years in a tax manager role, with 2+ years in a leadership position.
Skills: Strong knowledge of tax code and compliance, proficiency in MS Office and tax software, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a knack for problem-solving.
