As a Corporate Finance/Tax Intern, your essential job responsibilities will include the following: Support Finance/Tax department with a variety of tax accounting responsibilities. Support in the preparation and analysis of income taxes, sales/use taxes, property taxes. Collects and analyzes tax information. Research/Resolve transaction issues for assigned accounts. Assist with the preparation of ad hoc and other internal reports. Assist with audit requests. Manage small scale ad hoc deadline-based projects, while maintaining day-to-day routines. Provide project support to the Department staff on an as needed basis, and in conjunction with other priorities. Actively manage own time to accomplish the above within time frames established and agreed upon between Intern and Department Competencies Required Other Duties as Assigned Results Orientation Agility Initiative Basic working competency in MS Excel Position Requirements Accounting/finance major, preferably entering junior or senior year in 2024 Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
